Abstract: RISE/PSPT full disk solar images (2kx2k) observed in 1999 at Hawaii are used to measure the contrast of facular areas of narrow band images as function of the viewing angle theta. Faculae are indexed by corresponding CaIIK images (393 nm)as proxy. The contrasts within the congruently marked areas of images in wavelengths 408-412 nm and 605-610 nm are analyzed. The dependence of the results on spatial resolution is investigated, and the results are compared to previous values cited in literature.
