Abstracts: The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Technical Committee 20, SubCommittee 14, Working Group 4 (Aircraft and space vehicles Space systems and operations Space environments (natural and artificial)) is preparing a draft solar irradiance standard. The working draft standard WD 21348 is entitled 'Space Environment (Natural and Artificial) - Process for Determining Solar Irradiances.' This international standard will specify representations of solar irradiances. It is applicable to measurements, reference spectra, empirical models, and first-principles models. The two project leads for this development work are A.A. Nusinov (Russia) and W.K. Tobiska (USA). They welcome your comments to this draft standard.
